【摘要】:Thedeterminationofthetensileforce-elongationvaluesofgeogridsprovidesindexpropertyvalues.Thistestmethodshallbeusedforqualitycontrolandacceptancetestingofcommercialshipmentsofgeogrids.Incasesofdisputearisingfromdifferencesinreportedtestresultswhenusingthistestmethodforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipments,thepurchaserandsuppliershouldconductcomparativeteststodetermineifthereisastatisticalbiasbetweentheirlaboratories.Competentstatisticalassistanceisrecommendedfortheinvestigationofbias.Asaminimum,thetwopartiesshouldtakeagroupoftestspecimenswhichareashomogeneousaspossibleandwhicharefromalotofmaterialofthetypeinquestion.Thetestspecimensshouldthenberandomlyassignedinequalnumberstoeachlaboratoryfortesting.TheaverageresultsfromthetwolaboratoriesshouldbecomparedusingStudent''st-testforunpaireddataandanacceptableprobabilitylevelchosenbythetwopartiesbeforethetestingbegan.Ifabiasisfound,eitheritscausemustbefoundandcorrectedorthepurchaserandsuppliermustagreetointerpretfuturetestresultsinlightoftheknownbias.Allgeogridscanbetestedbyanyofthesemethods.Somemodificationoftechniquesmaybenecessaryforagivengeogriddependinguponitsphysicalmake-up.Specialadaptationsmaybenecessarywithstronggeogrids,multiplelayeredgeogrids,orgeogridsthattendtoslipintheclampsorthosewhichtendtobedamagedbytheclamps.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthetensilestrengthpropertiesofgeogridsbysubjectingstripsofvaryingwidthtotensileloading.1.2Threealternativeproceduresareprovidedtodeterminethetensilestrength,asfollows:1.2.1MethodA8212;Testingasinglegeogridribintension(Norlbf).1.2.2MethodB8212;Testingmultiplegeogridribsintension(kN/morlbf/ft).1.2.3MethodC8212;Testingmultiplelayersofmultiplegeogridribsintension(kN/morlbf/ft).1.3Thistestmethodisintendedforqualitycontrolandconformancetestingofgeogrids.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundvaluesstatedinparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.1.5Thisstandardmayinvolvehazardousmaterials,operations,andequipment.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:ThisPartofBS7385givesguidanceonthelevelsofvibrationabovewhichbuildingstructurescouldbedamaged.Itidentifiesthefactorswhichinfluencethevibrationresponseofbuildings,anddescribesthebasicprocedureforcarryingoutmeasurements.Vibrationsofbothtransientandcontinuouscharacterareconsidered.Amethodofassessmentwhichtakesintoaccountthecharacteristicsofthevibration,thebuildingandthemeasureddataisgiven.ItisappropriateforthetypesofinvestigationgiveninBS7385:Part1,butfordetailedengineeringanalysis,criteriaotherthanthevibrationlevelsmayneedtobeconsidered.Onlythedirecteffectofvibrationonbuildingsisconsidered.Theindirecteffectsonthebuildingstructureduetogroundmovement,themovementoflooseobjectswithinbuildings,thepossibilityofdamagetosensitiveequipmentandtheeffectofvibrationonpeopleareoutsidethescopeofthisPartofBS7385.Thereisamajordifferencebetweenthesensitivityofpeopleinfeelingvibrationandtheonsetoflevelsofvibrationwhichdamagethestructure.Levelsofvibrationatwhichadversecommentfrompeopleislikelyarebelowlevelsofvibrationwhichdamagebuildings,exceptatlowerfrequencies.TheevaluationofhumanexposuretovibrationinbuildingsiscoveredinBS6472.ThisPartofBS7385doesnotconsiderthemanyothercausesofcrackinginbuildings;crackingcommonlyoccursinbuildingswhethertheyareexposedtovibrationornot(seeannexA).Damageduetoearthquakes,airoverpressure,windortheseaarealsooutsidethescopeofthisPartofBS7385.Itisapplicableonlytovibrationtransmittedthroughthegroundandnottovibrationsetupbymachinerywithinabuilding.Chimneys,bridgesandundergroundstructuressuchaschambers,tunnelsandpipelinesarenotcovered.
