【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthenomenclatureandsharedsemanticsforacollectionofdatatypescommonlyoccurringinprogramminglanguagesandsoftwareinterfaces,referredtoastheGeneral-PurposeDatatypes(GPD).Itspecifiesbothprimitivedatatypes,inthesenseofbeingdefinedabinitiowithoutreferencetootherdatatypes,andnon-primitivedatatypes,inthesenseofbeingwhollyorpartlydefinedintermsofotherdatatypes.ThespecificationofdatatypesinthisInternationalStandardis“general-purpose”inthesensethatthedatatypesspecifiedareclassesofdatatypeofwhichtheactualdatatypesusedinprogramminglanguagesandotherentitiesrequiringtheconcept“datatype”areparticularinstances.Thesedatatypesaregeneralinnature;thus,theyserveawidevarietyofinformationprocessingapplications.ThisInternationalStandardexpresslydistinguishesthreenotionsofdatatype:?theconceptual,orabstract,notionofadatatype,whichcharacterizesthedatatypebyitsnominalvaluesandproperties;?thestructuralnotionofadatatype,whichcharacterizesthedatatypeasaconceptualorganizationofspecificcomponentdatatypeswithspecificfunctionalities;and?theimplementationnotionofadatatype,whichcharacterizesthedatatypebydefiningtherulesforrepresentationofthedatatypeinagivenenvironment.ThisInternationalStandarddefinestheabstractnotionsofmanycommonlyusedprimitiveandnon-primitivedatatypeswhichpossessthestructuralnotionofatomicity.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotdefineallatomicdatatypes;itdefinesonlythosewhicharecommoninprogramminglanguagesandsoftwareinterfaces.ThisInternationalStandarddefinesstructuralnotionsforthespecificationofothernon-primitivedatatypes,andprovidesameansbywhichdatatypesnotdefinedhereincanbedefinedstructurallyintermsoftheGPDsdefinedherein.ThisInternationalStandarddefinesapartialterminologyforimplementationnotionsofdatatypesandprovidesfortheuseofthisterminologyinthedefinitionofdatatypes.Theprimarypurposeofthisterminologyistoidentifycommonimplementationnotionsassociatedwithdatatypesandtodistinguishthemfromconceptualnotions.ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestherequiredelementsofmappingsbetweentheGPDsandthedatatypesofsomeotherlanguage.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotspecifythepreciseformofamapping,butrathertherequiredinformationcontentofamapping.
